What is Disciple Now?
Disciple Now is a weekend-long event focused on strengthening students’ relationships with the Lord. Disciple Now exists to engage students with the living and active Word of God through corporate worship, small groups, host homes, missions, and teaching of the Word. In other words, it is all about relationships to God and each other.
What is Exit 18?
In 2016 student pastors across Troup County formed a community with the purpose of being an encouragement to one another in personal life and also in ministry. This group meets together monthly to share the praises and needs in our ministries and to pray for each other. We have come to realize that the more we are able to work together as the Church and not separately as individual churches, more genuine Kingdom work is accomplished. Exit 18 represents the combined hearts, visions and ministries of the Church in Troup County. The focus of Exit 18 Disciple Now weekend is for separate church bodies to come together as one to connect our students to God and each other under The Powerful Name of Jesus.
How Much Does it Cost?
Per Student – $55 (Jan 1-15), $65 (Jan 16-31) $75 (Feb 1-17)
These costs cover T-Shirts, lunch and dinner, and expenses associated with the band, speakers and small group leaders for the weekend.

Who will be leading my students during the weekend?
We partner with SWAT Ministries out of Athens, Ga to provide quality trained small group leaders for our Disciple Now weekend. SWAT recruits and trains college students and young adults from all over the southeast to disciple students in small group environments. These leaders serve in Disciple Now weekends all year long and have a passion for discipling students. FBC has personally had an incredible experience with SWAT for many years and we believe that there is a benefit to adding quality leaders to our students’ circles. If you want more info on this ministry, check them out online at swatministries.com
Recreation?
We believe there is great value in having fun and playing games together so we plan a recreation time for all groups on Saturday. SWAT will bring in a recreation coordinator that will put together different games and track times for our rec time on Saturday. All students will participate in recreation with their host home group.
Check-In?
Students will check in and bring luggage to the meal site that your church is assigned to for dinner.
As students arrive and check in they will receive the contact information for their assigned host home to share with their parents. Students will then be instructed to drop their luggage at the designated spot for their host home. There will be signs posted around the meal site.
Students will meet their small group leader for the weekend and receive their lanyard at their host home table during mealtime.
